Brian KayExecutive Chef

For Chef Brian Kay, his culinary career has taken him on both a scholarly and cultural journey in which the novice has now become the teacher thanks to his experiences in Asia, the Caribbean, and the United States.

From Lake Tahoe to Hawaii to across the Pacific Ocean to Hong Kong, back to the islands of aloha, moving to Las Vegas, Vail, and across the U.S. to the Virgin Islands, Key West and Indiana, Chef Kay has burned some long hours in the kitchen opening and managing restaurants, not to mention logging some serious travel miles.

Now, Chef Kay has returned south to the warm Florida weather and new home at Trina Restaurant and Lounge at The Atlantic Hotel & Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida as executive chef.



Jennifer Gebis Pastry Chef
Gebis has left a sweet impression since she first burst on to the South Florida culinary scene in 2001. Best know for her flashy and inspirational designs, Gebis' creations leave her guests guessing should I stare a bit longer or eat this incredible creation. A graduate of the International Culinary Academy, Gebis honed her craft at a wide range restaurants not the least of which is 27 Ocean Blue in Boca Raton. Her holiday showpieces are the things that children dream of and her special event creations have left even the most seasoned "foodie" asking, "How did she do that?" Having been trained in multi-concept food operations that specialized in fine dining as well as banquets and catering Gebis brings a wealth of culinary knowledge to her role as Pastry Chef for Trina Restaurant. Trust us when we say, "You have to see it to believe it".
